Festive harvest wreaths and art works will welcome Durham visitors and residents who explore the wonders beyond the doors of Durham’s historic Bed and Breakfast Inns. During the celebration of North Carolina Bed and Breakfast Week, the Inns of Durham Open House and Art Sale will be the first of what will become an annual opportunity to experience these unique properties, alive with special warmth and hospitality. Featured in this year’s tour will be Arrowhead Inn, Blooming Garden Inn, Morehead Manor and Old North Durham Inn. The Inns will be decorated for the fall harvest and refreshments will be served. Visitor can meet some of the area’s finest artisans whose wares will be showcased – and available for purchase by early holiday shoppers – along with Inn collectibles. Inn gift certificates will also be available for purchase.
